Situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters (8,957 feet), Doodhpathri is surrounded by dense pine forests and snow-capped peaks. Entry & Facilities
Minimal entry fee. Basic facilities available including small eateries and toilet facilities. No accommodation at the site; visitors must return to Srinagar or camp (with permission). Pony rides available for exploring the meadow.
How to Reach
By Road
42 km from Srinagar via Budgam-Khansahib road (1.5-2 hours). Road is well-maintained but winding. Private taxis available from Srinagar (₹3,000-4,000 round trip). Shared cabs available from Khansahib.
